Sunday, March 21st...

We hardly got any snow in the great Inland Northwest this year. So before it all melted, we drove up into the mountains with some friends for some fun.
It was beautiful!
I love my car!!!
Isn't it perfect for the snow?!
The girls love sledding behind the car!

And so does Tim!

Check out those smiles :)

Tim eats it... at least this year it was not me!

That was fun...
Time to get warm by the fire and roast some hot-dogs!

"Hey, who locked the door? I see the keys....
...and the hot dogs!"
"Dang-it!"

Tim rode back into town with us to get his extra set of keys. It took an hour and a half to get him to his house. (Which included a pit stop on the hill to clean out the back of our car and our little girl. Poor thing.) Then it took him another hour to get back up to his family. But the way down turned into 2 flat tires on their other rig....maybe a broken window would of been worth it!

Saturday, March 20th....

What a gorgeous start to the weekend!
Saturday started bright and early with Kylie and her friends filming a video for a class at school. Ancient Greece, Greek Mythology, and modern day Greece had to be covered.
I got still shots of their ancient Greek family.

Kelsey (mom), Whitney (dad), and Kylie (daughter).
One of the girls has a neighbor who was willing to let them use his backyard to film this part.
The horses just happened to cooperate with them at the right time.
And the fireplace was neat!
I think they had fun putting this together...
Thank you, Andrea, for the last minute costumes!!!
I really like this firepit. Would love to build something like it in our yard,
since we just tore down our fireplace.

My mom came over & we spent the beautiful, sunny afternoon/evening clearing out some (way) overgrown trees and bushes from one side of the yard. We filled the backs of 2 trucks before we had to stop for the day, and we still have the other half of the fence line to go.

I am so excited to finish! It is looking good!
Maybe the kids can make it their own little hide-out.
Plus, it is a better view for our neighbor friends.
Bella is my parents' new puppy.
She is a 6 month old Labradoodle....isn't she cute?
She and Gracie have become great buds, and Bella is helping her shed those few extra pounds she has put on over the winter! (She is always so pooped-out after a couple hours with the pup.)

Love this....

This is my cousin singing "Amazing Grace" at his Grandpa's memorial service.
I love this song, and Quin singing it just melts my heart.
(It took me a few seconds to realize that I could record it on my camera.
And again, sorry about the shakes.)

Dany Learns to Ride

Dany decided Friday evening that it was time for her training wheels to come off. She said that she needed to "learn to ride without training wheels before Tanner learns to ride all the way on two wheels, because Mason is teaching him now." (Tanner (3 1/2) and Mason are neighbor friends.)
So, we all took turns steadying her for about an hour until it got too dark. Then first thing Saturday morning she was back out in the driveway trying again on her own. I decided she needed a little more room to really get moving and to be able to practice turning....so here she is in the school parking lot. She's a natural!

Doing Good...

I think I've got it...

Uh, Oh...Watch out!

Ha, Ha, Ha...She didn't get hurt-she got right back on and took off again!

Just some happenings from the beginning of 2010....

Here is Kylie's Orchestra picture. She is enjoying it, and she made first Chair! Yeah Ky!!!
Her next big concert is at the BING downtown...Fun! Dany loves trying on new clothes and modeling for the camera! She is now enrolled to start Kindergarten in the fall...;~{
Kylie likes to pose too. Actually I made her let me take a picture of her lighter hair-do. Aunt Sami gave her a thinning and highlited her hair (plus a streak of purple underneath)! Here is our Grace dog...Dany has also really been enjoying being the one behind the camera:)
